OUR WHY
Truthfully, any videographer or photographer you hire can put you in a pretty location at sunset and get good photos. But we want to do so much more than that for you! It’s not just all about the creamy edits and dreamy landscapes (although those are definitely the cherry on top) — it’s about creating photos and videos that make you happy and that become lifetime memories for you and your partner.
We are all about romanticizing our day to day life, no matter how mundane it may seem. We live in such a go-go-go society that we sadly often miss what’s right in front of us until we’re reminiscing on it years later.
We truly believe it’s the little moments that make life beautiful, and photo and film are such a powerful way to slow down, be present, and appreciate life for what it is right at this moment. You deserve a photographer that is intentional about getting to know you, what your dream day looks and feels like, and making sure you feel comfortable to be yourself in front of the camera.

I always feel like my best work comes when the mood is carefree and we don’t sweat the small stuff, just document the moments authentically as they happen.

We never expect our couples to be models or know exactly what to do in front of the camera. Our method of directing couples involves both poses and prompts. At times we will give more specific direction and poses, and other times we will become more hands-off to let a moment unfold on its own. Having your photos taken shouldn’t be awkward or stiff, or something you dread doing. Let’s play some music, hang out, and just have

No matter how mundane or simple you may think your life is, everyone has a story worth documenting. We love to use different shooting and editing techniques to create photos & film that feel like a dreamy scene from a movie. Whether it’s a close up of your hands, a blurred running photo, an emotional black and white, or a wide landscape shot, we always try to shoot a variety of photos and clips to help tell a creative story. we don’t always shoot for the “perfect” shot – actually the imperfect or accidental shots usually become my favorites in a gallery.

The truth is, We are probably not going to be the cheapest photographer you reach out to, and that’s okay. The couples we work with believe in the value of quality, meaningful photographs that capture their favorite moments and people forever. The to-do list as an engaged couple is never ending — trust me, we get it. But while all the details of your wedding day are indeed important, the only thing you’ll have after the day are the photos and footage.
